That is a quote I remember hearing in an old RSD video that one of Tylers students says to Tyler. Tyler would give the guy the opener and he'd maybe give him some funny line to say to follow up with. The girl would love it. Then the guy would be 'on his own' and he'd lose her fast. (that's when he came back to Tyler and was like ''The girls only like the lines that you give me to use'')

I know that the seddit philosophy is that the actual words you say don't matter, but, like the guy in the RSD vid, I notice the same thing as him!

If I approach a girl and literally steal the openers that I've heard in RSD vids and even steal their little one liners and random statements (like Julien telling girls he's looking for trolls as he's making a documentary and then jumping into some weird story about that or whatever) I have a MUCH better chance of hooking girls.

If I just use stuff from my own brain, it fails. Girls get bored. I'm more like ''Hey''. And then ask them their name, maybe make a comment on something about them or something in the environment etc. Ask what they're up too etc

The fun element isn't really there. There's very little emotional impact.

Do you guys notice you have better results with canned lines/stories/routines etc?

I feel as though I need to spend a few weeks to deeply memorise lots of funny lines/statements etc, and also funny answers to questions that I'm likely to be asked
