Personally, Instagram is the only social media I use. I have my instagram linked to my dating apps as well, mostly because I have a lot of tattoos that aren't visible and that's sometimes a huge yes/no for girls so I'd rather get that out of the way right off the bat.

I don't think an instagram account is required by any means, and I feel like making one just for dating apps will do more harm than good. Unless you're all in and constantly updating your instagram with fun pictures that convey your personality and interests I don't see the point in having one. Additionally, at your age it's not uncommon to have a reduced social media presence so I wouldn't overthink it.

Nothing beats meeting women in real life. I would even argue that you deteriorate your real life social skills by relying on social media to do the opener. Remember, learning about pick up translates into success in all areas of your life. In my experience, I dont have any* social media, and it has made me more appealing for the women I attract and am attracted to for the simple fact that its just 1 more thing that they don't understand about me. Remember you want to leave a lot to the woman's imagination. When a girl has "figured you out" it isnt so thrilling to get with you.

Nothing beats getting women in real life. In fact, some of these apps could hog up on your time and are not ideal for picking up women. You can however, use them to plan and set dates (like how you phone someone up). Other than that, it's not really mandatory to use these apps. I personally find more success when I go out in the real world. You're doing fine mate. Cheers!

Here's what you should have as a minimum: An Instagram account with ~5-10 pics that put a positive light on your appearance, status, and activities. Reason? Women you meet in real life will go to Instagram to scope you out, show their friends, etc.

Beyond that, you don't need to actively use it.

Your Grandma uses Facebook. Younger kids like Snapchat but I heard they just released an update, everyone hates it and the audience is now moving elsewhere. I personally think it's a huge waste of time chasing new platforms on social media. You can invest yourself in a platform and suddenly overnight it's obsolete.

The general rule of thumb is Good SM>No SM>Bad SM. I personally only use snapchat to show off the fact im doing cool shit/traveling to cool places, but everyone has their own reasons/preferences in regards to SM use. I have some friends who obtain a ton of social status through how they market themselves on social media(although it can be a bit obsessive at times). If you have a good follower ratio and show off good content girls will perceive you as a higher status. It’s important to note that the content you are sharing on social media must be congruent to the type of person you are in real life, because if you’re not most times girls will see right through your bullshit(this happens to some of my more wealthy friends with good sm but shitty game). So my advice to SM use would be to use it to show you doing high value activity, with high value people, with high value things. If you can do this, people you don’t even know as well as the people you already know will perceive you as higher status.

snapchat is the shit if you like younger girls, Literally you can open any set doing snap chat. The interaction can die pretty easily but thats the case with most 25 and under chicks.

Instagram doesn't matter unless you're trying to build rapport with someone younger than you in real life. For online game Instagram really matters I'm unsure of why tho .. you can fake it pretty easily do hashtag search and find images that have low views but also look good and use them

Yes it matter.

It proves that you have had a lot of fun in the past. Without it you constantly have to prove that you have fun. Like, you met a girl last month and now you have had a lot of fun that month and she knows it. However, you'll meet a new girl this month which means you have to do a lot of fun as well this month to prove that you are not boring as well to her. More simply said: it proves that you already are fun so it reduces pressure to showcase that you are fun when you meet a new girl.
