There are so many out there that preach only focusing on yourself and not caring about women and they will just naturally come. While they do have a point, the individual doing this doesn't have that much more of control over his sexual destiny than he did before he started.

Women often complain about dating being hard. But how can it be hard for them? Most cultures on earth are set up so that men are the one's who pursue women. What exactly is so hard?

The thing that is hard for a woman is the fact that she has little control over which man pursues her. She might have 10 men pursuing her at a given time but she also might be in a situation where none of these men are particularly appealing to her. Also, when she does see a man that she really wants, she doesn't have that much power to make something happen between them unless she goes against social norms, risking more embarrassment from rejection than we do.

The same is true for you. I'm sure throughout your life there have been women who naturally found you attractive but you didn't necessarily reciprocate those feelings. And I'm damn sure you've seen a woman that you wanted so bad and wished you could do something about it.

The issue with only focusing on yourself and never learning how to make it happen with a woman is that you're basically relying on fate. Sure, you may cast a larger net because you've raised your attractiveness a few points by developing yourself but you've never developed the skills to effectively use a fishing rod when one "fish" that you really want swims past your net.
