Guys, please leave girls at the gym alone. Top complaints of why the dont work out is because guys hit on them.

I get you guys want to approach girls and the like but also think of what might be going on for her what that she really may want to keep to herself.

I would recommend that you give the smile test. Catch eye contact and give her a nice long smile, maybe wave. if she responds, she may be interested, or thinks you weird or friendly///.

I catch guys looking at me all the time at the gym, i catch myself making eye contact more than 3 times in a session. because I am there for an hour, i look at myself i look at others, i judge others, they look at me they judge me, the whole place is full of mirrors and hard bodies for a reason. Gym is the worst place to judge eye contact, or try picking up. Its personal time. Even when I feel like there is an attraction, i still try to focus on myself, as gym is my time. i go there with headphones on and work out for a reason, and its not to waste time chatting around and wasting pump/energy/time.

Kudos for embracing rejection and trying to talk to her, but women get eyeballed at the gym so much many have a stigma against gyms because of the attention. her walking away was actually a good response, means she at least didnt play being friendly and lead you on further, so that you both waste time not working out and wasting time being friendly. Also rings go off fingers so no way of knowing if they are properly unavailable. just a huge minefield.

Anytime you go through rejection, it's best to take it as gift that you sorted something out quickly, instead of wasting your time better spent on another opportunity.

That said, most women I know aren't at the gym for romance.
