There was a fantastic thread a while back about how women really don't even care about having fun, doing new things, doing expensive things, or having new experiences; they really just care about taking a picture of it for others to see or to be able to tell others; anyone able to find it?

I own a tattoo shop in a big college town. As soon as I finish any tattoo, I tell the girl (90% or so of all tattoo clients are female now), "Before I bandage this, get your phone and take a picture". Because if I don't say that, they'll take the bandage off before they're even out the door, so they can get a picture to put on Facetwittersnapgram.

Ive always wondered if girls would do any of the stuff they do if they couldnt show or tell anyone. Im actually glad I grew up just before facebook and remember doing things just for the sake of really wanting to. I would even go standup jetskiing ALONE if none of my friends could make it. Have you ever seen a girl do anything alone?

I don't know if this is any help, but I do remember a thread by some European guy about how Ibiza has become more narcissistic over the years with girls just going to take pictures, selfy's etc. Not sure if it was the main point of the article but it he sure discussed it.

Guys are guilty of it, too. I once went kayaking with a buddy of mine. We're out in the water for only 3 minutes before he takes out his phone, in the middle of the lake, and starts snapping selfies. So lame.

It's completely true and the main reason I deleted my Facebook today.

Don't try and say it isn't true for a lot of guys out there as well. Our society values a pointless instagram post more than experiences.
