Everything I'm about to tell you on here is a reflection of my own experience and I understand mine will be different from everyone else's but I feel this is something that needs to be talked about. Do not rely on Tinder to improve your dating/sex life. Tinder cannot replace real life interactions in a social environment. There is an exception to every rule and surely some people do find the one on dating apps, but they are not the majority. For people who already have issues socializing with women or socializing in general, tinder will not change that. You will match with girls, and hell, you might even get laid but I promise it won't change a thing. Either you won't be satisfied with the results in the end or the girl you messed around with will not be sticking around. I am telling you all of this now so you do not pay the same price I did (theoretically and literally). I've been using tinder for the last 4 years, up until the summer I had been paying for it for almost 2 years.

I lost my virginity from this app 3 summers ago and that's when this dependency all started. I went on a handful of dates that I can't remember and have gotten laid 6 times in total from the app. For the amount of money I was paying for tinder social at $12 for almost every month the last year and a half, I definitely did NOT get my money's worth. The same way I was masking my own issues through my profile, is also the way a lot of other people operate on this app. If you haven't figured it out, social media has made a lot of people insecure and that is clearly reflected in a lot of pictures women post when they take photos at a certain angle, use filters etc. that shows they can do everything except be honest with themselves. Even if they're not lying about their image, a lot of them lack basic social skills, conversation skills etc. You will find a lot of the outcast types.

Tinder is a money making app first and foremost, surprise surprise. The app developers do not give a shit if you get laid or not, they just want you to use their services. With how much control they have over the online dating market now, They've made things more expensive, placed more restrictions and more fees for their services. imagine if your president told you that you can't talk to cute girls for 12 hours, unless you want to pay a fee of $12. You would think this is batshit crazy and someone is trying to hold you back from doing your God given nature of mating.

I see a lot of people saying 'I use tinder because I don't have the time to actively meet partners' which is kind of bullshit in a lot of cases. People just don't want to make the effort to put themselves out there and pursue an activity they like, or go to a coffee shop etc..There's also the possibility that tinder will run its course and no longer be popular. Now what? You're back to square one, with all the shitty problems you originally had because you didn't have it in you to socialize with women in real life.

As for myself, I have been working on learning how to socialize with women, and embracing the good qualities i have instead of always putting myself down. Right now I can't look in the mirror and say I am satisfied but I'm doing the little things such as trying to eat healthier, work out etc.. until I can be confident in my body and every decision I make. I have the urge to go back on dating apps sometimes, but I am NOT paying for any services at the moment and self-control is something I'm really trying to work on. I have made great improvements already by socializing with female customers at work and taking down their numbers, which is something that has made me look forward for the future. One thing at a time.
