LTR girl lied for no reason. Why would she lie about mundane stuff? What's redpill interpretation of this?

And then look at the way she reacted to you getting the truth out of her, she did it in a true AWALT fashion, tossed accountability and agency right out of her hands, as if she had no dealings with what came out of her mouth and it was your fault for not being an idiot and falling for whatever she was pulling. That right there is a terrible sign.

I'm sure anyone at this point would cut contact.

It may or may not be a coverup, perhaps she just lied offhand (out of habit?) and then dug herself deeper until she went all in.

However, this definitely isn't a good sign for the future.

You put her on the defensive when you asked her why she didn't text. The lie sounds like a shit test in response to that needy behavior. I'm not excusing the lying, that's definitely a red flag and unacceptable, but ask yourself if she would have said the same thing if instead you had said something like, "Wow, I had so much fun doing "x" yesterday, how was your day?"

Why are you arguing with her? When they lie, you've lost a semblence of trust, and it really isn't worth your time to try and rebuild it. When girls act shady, do your own thing and let them continue being shady.

Girls will hamster and twist the facts to make it seem fine not only to themselves, but to others as well. They focus on image. Rather than tell you she didnt feel like texting when she was around a bunch of friends, she's lying about being sick, and then when confronted about it, she trys to turn it on you being the one who's acting crazy.

AWALT. Next her and move on. LTRs are fine, but when this kind of stuff happens, its an LTS-- long term strain.

Probably because she feels guilty about something. It could be something innocent like not wanting to rub your nose into all the fun she's having without you. Could be that she's just bored and this is a way for her to add some excitement.

Breaking up over a text conversation usually is a bad idea. A lot goes missing over text. Sit her down when she comes back and let her explain herself. If she throws a tantrum about spying on her, don't lose your frame. Don't explain yourself while she's angry. You can tell her you weren't spying when she's calm and more open to reason.

You should have been traveling with her
If you're not close enough where she can go trips without you, you should be aware that you are not that close and you should be spinning plates on the side.

Give her radio silence for a few weeks and focus on other hoes / things in life

There was no reason to lie. This makes no sense.

There was no reason that you know of.

Other than not rubbing your nose in her fun (which I don't believe), there are literally no good outcomes to this.

The most likely is that she snuck away from the group and blew someone, and her hamster felt like that initial lie would cover her with a blanket alibi.

You know who needs alibi's? Guilty people.

The fucked up thing is that if she did cheat, then it may have been you not sending her the morning text that you skipped that added to whatever else and pushed her across her whore threshold.

On a different note - now you see one of the thousands of reasons to not use text for anything other than logistics.

I'd agree with the guys saying "next."

Your trust in her is now damaged - any focus by you on whether or not she is lying in the future is the road to ruin.

Abundance mentality - is she someone you could not replace with a similar or better girl?

No matter the answer, her not being trustworthy should make it moot.
