if you want to talk to them then talk to them. As long as you don’t grab them or not leave them alone if they aren’t receptive then you will be fine.

I've tried it a handful of times and it's never worked for me. In theory, I think it looks inherently needy so you need to follow up with something really good and be exactly her type.

Also: I don't think it's worth bothering with this method of approaching, there are plenty of places to find girls who are either walking toward you so you can stop them before they pass, or who are standing still.

Yeah I'd have to agree with ya there. When I see infield of those guys running up It comes across to me as them being intermediate at game when they surprise the girls purposefully. You can run up if she is far away and walking away from you, but if this isnt the case it is ALWAYS better to have her see you coming before you interact. It comes off more confident and bad boy vibe than acting more like a clown with the surprise jump in. Dont get me wrong, running can work, but if you can run up, then start walking before you reach her or just walk, it's always better in my experience.

I think a lot of women might find this scary. I know when I’m walking and a man starts coming at me fast I become terrified. You have to think abt the context in which some women have been run up to in. For many, they may have a negative memory or fear.

There are two ways this situation goes down. You run up to me and as you approach, slow down. Do not sprint towards me. Just a light jog as you get nearer. Do not reach out to touch me in any way, shape, or form, especially if you are approaching from behind.

Smile, but not like overly smile. Just a normal smile. And just say something like “I don’t mean to bother you, but I couldn’t help but notice you as I passed. I’d like to take you out for coffee sometime if you’re interested.” If she agrees, swap numbers. If she doesn’t, wish her a nice day and move on.

If you approach at high speed and try to touch me in any way, I guarantee you will receive hands, and verbal abuse. If it’s late at night in a desolate area, do not try to do anything. Just let her walk away.
