Once I got exposed in TRP and started reading, things began to click in my head that eventually made me decide what things I like doing. Finally, I felt like I should stop being worthless beta and work hard on myself. But when I shared my new-found motivation and goals with my relatives what they had to say was "Now you remembered it? NOW? Aren't you a little late to the party?". Point being I'm 34. But I'm not dead! And in my defense I really felt demotivated to the point of existential depression for a good while, and to me this idea of finding something meaningful to work towards is profound.

I heard people claiming that even relatives will sometimes shit test you. Could this be it? And if it is, how do you face it when the very people who are close to you question your abilities and goals?
