First of all, I want to say I have mad respect for you mate. 18 years old and having that kind of income, that kind of career path...it's just impressive. You could always be an internet troll, but in case you're not...mad respect.

Now to answer your question. I do get the impression that you're very...external It seems to me that you tie your self worth with external stuff :

I make good money selling cars. About $5500 a month

I drive a 2013 Scion FRS (manual)

got laser eye surgery

bought my own place

Even the solution that you want, you're hoping for something external.

a hobby maybe, or some place I can frequent that will make me more exciting?

RSD Tyler was talking about this. He asked an audience who did they think got laid the most in Hawai? Is it the tourists? The wealthy locals? Can you guess the answer?
It's the homeless guys by the beach. Yes of course driving a Ferrari or a Scion, wearing a Rolex and having VIP access to the best clubs will get you Veronica who is gorgeous...but remember that before coming to your yacht to have caviar she was sucking Bilbo's(homeless Hawaiin guy) dick behind some bush. Why? Because Bilbo has inner confidence.

Your game, your confidence and your personality should come from inside. Next time you go out, leave your Scion at home, take the bus, don't take the Rolex, lose the Italian suit and forget about VIP access. Instead go as a regular bloke, approach women and try to game them without once mentioning your job, your car and your place.

If you want the quick and dirty version. Stand up Comedy. Watch the best of all time stand ups, and than get into it yourself. Develop a sense of humor and than turn that into being funny (they aren't the same thing). One it develops huge balls and two no one is as interesting to listen to as a stand up comic.

Working 12 hours a day isnt doing you any favors, if you can, try and cut it down to 10 or 8, or even work 4 days a week. Your work life balance is out of whack, from my experience people who are too career focused are the most boring people i have ever met. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy

The way I see it there are 2 ways. To be objectively interesting, try any activity that involves building something until you find one you like. Gardening, coding, art painting, whatever, Di it find some friends and be proud. and/or you can go by a girl's definition of interesting: be in several clubs or social groups with at least one as an officer or leader.

Start 3 hobbies. They dont have to be expensive ones. Learn all you can about them. If you get a way into one and find it utterly boring, drop it and move onto another until you find 3 that just click for you.

You will then start to develop a large knowledge base that you can converse about. Most likely these hobbies will pull other people from your life into them and make you seem less boring. I personally would lean towards hobbies outside the house in your case. Gardening, Photography, Mountain climbing, cycling, antiquing/restoration, Astronomy, etc

Don't get hung up on the cash. You need to be thinking about the long term plan. 5500 / month is serious bank at 18, but that's barely middle class if you have a family. If you plan for it and invest in your future, you have the opportunity to be sipping margaritas full time on a beach by the time you're 50.

open a 401k. Max it out
don't waste your money on stupid shit. Your "materialistic" comment makes me think you are.
get a long term plan. What's next? Start your own business? Move up into management at the dealership? Figure it out and work toward it.
set aside at least one month a year to do something interesting. Travel to Eastern Europe, South America, India, SE Asia, etc...

While it might not make you interesting right away, you will have a much easier time becoming interesting by interacting with people using the principles from the book.

These are examples of passions/hobbies that make you more interesting. Pick things that truly excite you. Dabble in all sorts of stuff until you find your passions. Money is good, but working 12 hours a day can grind you down and make you boring.

music: learn to play an instrument, explore a genre or three, become a regular at a local music venue
sports/outdoors: I'm partial to combat and water sports, but anything can be cool. Combat sports allow you to teach basic stuff to a girl, which can both reinforce your frame over hers and paint you as a powerful alpha. Water sports allow you both to show off your bodies and generate attraction. Hiking, camping, and cycling are also really good activities to hook a girl with.
volunteer: find a cause and go support it with your physical presence. Teach, build, organize, and generally be involved in an organization. Women love to help you provide value. Be that bad ass with a heart of gold. Bitches melt at that.
video games: believe it or not, lots of girls love video games. Play something together for short bursts. Don't just spend all day on the couch with WoW or something. Find casual fun games like GTA and trade off for an hour. The excitement of the game can be an aphrodisiac.

The takeaway is be passionate about things other than self-improvement.

I know your job is important to you, and that is probably the best thing that you have going for you, but I think taking a class here and there at your community college would help expand your interests and knowledge about the world, which would turn you into a more interesting conversationalist. Right now, you're just an uneducated guy who happens to be in a good position materially. Girls want something exciting, too, and they like a guy who appears intelligent and knows something about the world not just a guy who works at a car dealership, drives a 2013 Scion, and has his own place. This may get you laid, but if you're looking for a girlfriend, which I think is OK (experiencing a GF despite what you read in this sub is a valuable experience, too; many guys here would not have swallowed the RP without one; oftentimes they are a catalyst for change).

You are doing really well. You sound really smart and not boring at all. Nice choice on the car btw. RWD and manual is a must. Your dating pool is bit limited and maybe people at your age have difficulty to relate to you as of now. Aim for the best. You'll learn and find all the answers eventually.
