What are the baby steps you took to dealing with approach anxiety?

Honestly man, I just got over my anxiety by realizing I have nothing to lose by shooting my shot with these beautiful girls I saw sometimes. And I just went for it. You will be glad u did it trust me.

Just give a girl a compliment on something she is wearing (shoes is best bet). Don’t say it about their tight pants or shirt blah blah blah u know what I mean. Do something they will be surprised by but actually means what u say. Then literally just walk away. Don’t give any fucks. They will probably get all blush and say thanks, if ur really lucky they will chase after u and try and continue the conversation (good luck lol)

Its especially useful how he points out that he kept going out even though he wasn't able to do any approaches AT ALL.

Another thing that I did is I bought a ton of audio books on approaching and day game and listened to them while cleaning / driving / at the gym, etc... They had useful information, but also a hypnotic affect which kept my mind focused on approaching.

I also literally got hypnotized once a week to start approaching.

Don't start off trying to number close or even complimenting a chick if you don't feel comfortable with it. Ask them what time it is. Seems like a weird thing to do in an age where everyone has a phone, but I got 0 negative reactions from asking it when I was first tackling AA.

It also gives you an opportunity to see a lot more indications of interest than you are probably used to seeing. I spent so much time on "operation man-dime" that when I finally started saying anything to women, some of them would stutter or blush or giggle for no apparent reason.

I was like... shit. I spent way too much time on operation man-dime. Like a solid year.

- Start holding eye contact with lots of girls you see walking by. Smile to the ones that don't look away.

- Start approaching every beautiful woman you see on the street and ask for some information/directions, do this in a bold and confident manner, pay attention to your body language, tone of voice, eye contact, etc.

- When asking for information/directions, bring the conversation to more personal questions or make a positive comment on something about her (something she is wearing, hairstyle, something going on around you...), try to make it authentic and original.

- Always escalate: Ask for her number, for her to join you for a coffee, ask them on dates, etc.

- The most important thing is consistency, try to do it every single day as much as you can, with practice, it will get easier and you will start to get better responses from women.

- Don't get discouraged nor frustrated. While doing this, women may ignore you, act uninterested, unresponsive or even rude. Keep your goals in mind and ignore the bullshit. If the interaction is not going in a direction you want it to go, eject and start a new one with a different woman. The practice is what will bring you positive results, so stop wasting more time and start right now.

Cliche as fuck, but just do it. That doesn't help much but it's true.
You see, approaching gives anxiety. And, no joke , it feels like you're gonna die... And people don't want to die obviously. This exact feeling is why you won't approach and at the same time HAVE to do it. You NEED to progress YOU as a person.
If there were some pieces of advice I can give you.. Work on yourself first. Do things you love doing and have a goal in life. Don't only focus on girls but focus on multiple things. Work out, get hobbies, progress in work/build your business or whatever it is. Spend time on it. GET INTERESTING! I'm no hot stuff pick up artist at all. In fact, I piss my pants when approaching but I still do it. The first second; the hi is the scariest. After that, she's just a human being like you. She can say 'I have a boyfriend' and that's that. No harm done. If there's interest in it I can take more time and perhaps write a full post. Like I said I'm not pick up artist by far but I still approach.

Count to three when you are stopping yourself from doing something you want to do. Do it at soon as you get too 3. Steve O would do this before crazy stunts and he says it never failed him

Well, some times you need to start just asking for the time. But in the end on all those steps there is a degree of effort that you need to be pushing each time, those baby steps need to be progressibly better. Ive noticed that if you come to them in a good spot and be nice, you are going to be treated nice. Even some rejections feel cute from them. What i do most of the time is hey/excuse me, i was doing this or that (thing im actually doing in the moment) and saw you, i think you look really nice/cute. Of course its not the exact template, but its like a basic thing for me to say hi and go for a compliment, I wait for her response, most of the time they say thank you or go blank and say "ok?". Whatever they do i present myself with my name, reaching for her hand. I try to smile most of the time, but you need to feel that smile, not fake it. I guess getting nervous and doing the approach makes me smile a bit easier. I cant say i have conquered my fear of approach or engaging girls too, but ive made progress.

You just do it and then you get better. I used to get hyper anxious speaking to attractive women. How I got over it is just doing it more. The more you do it the lower it gets.

They really can't tell as much as you think they can, also even if they can tell who cares? What is going to happen? They'll think you're nervous like most men are. Big deal. Keep at it and it will reduce.
