Do you know Mystery and the Mystery Method?

Yes

Have you read his book?

Yes, along with many others.

Have you ever tried it?

Only some parts of it, but way before it was a book. This was common knowledge around friends/relatives. In Italy, the pickup concept was known at least since the '60s (with other terms, and much less techniques).

What was your experience?

Some principles worked and they still work to some extent. But this is beeyond MM, IMHO.

What do you think about the method?

It has both some strenghts and weaknesses as well. Too much acting and lack of honesty, IMHO. It has some good principles though.

Yeah, read it. Doesn't work. I mean, have you seen HIS infields? Even HE can't make it work that well and it's his method! haha. (unless the girl is into him). Lots of his infields are hard to watch from pure cringe, tbh. Either boring uninteretsed girls with his DHV's and neg lines etc, or he's wasting time messing around on girls who think he's a tall handsome guy and are ready to be pulled, and all he needs to do is escalate, but he's still running through his checklist and telling girls that his friends are 'good people' etc lol. His laycount is apparently very low despite approaching girls basically being his job for a long time!

It doesn't work in practice. No 'game' method is some sort of black magic where you can force a girl to wanna bang you. You can neg and DHV etc, but if you aren't her type, she's never gonna be giving you big IOI's and passing your comliance tests, which means you are now not allowed to show intent, and so lots of sets will never go anywhere at all

It's just a massively over-complicated mess that puts guys in their heads (she IOD'd me? Now I need to give her an IOD back and then a DHV!).

I think some people who get laid with it get laid in spite of it rather than because of it (which is really just a result of actually having the balls too approach thus increasing your ods of finding a girl who thinks you're hot)

It's also like the exact opposite of 'models' by Manson, and that books is like the poster-book for seduction here on seddit

But yeah, it's easy to go and and test MM for yourself. You'll have your answer. It's not difficult. But if it worked, we'd all be out banging victoria models and super hot celebs every night lol.

It's how I learned game, Neil Strauss's 'the rules of the game' was my official introduction. I learned the methods and did tons of approaches.

My personal experience of it is that it's great for being 'interesting' and getting a lot of phone numbers that go nowhere. When the flakes finally take their toll on you, you become even more frustrated than before. I got laid Zero times from it, got flaked on more times than I can count, probably 98% of the time (Not an exaggeration), it got to the point where I was expecting girls to flake.

I didn't start getting laid until direct game came into the picture, even though direct game has its disadvantages, it's still better than being Mr Interesting.
