Man its like bamboo, you water that shit for years and nothing happens then one morning it shoots out of the ground at warp speed. Plus only getting a few lays is more than you would have got by not trying at all. At least you got an outcome, at least you learned, less can be said for many others, and most didn't stick it out past their first rejection.

If you want some drug to numb you to women then just go jerk it to porn twice a day, you wont even have the energy to pursue them, would you prefer being that kind of guy?

If your other hobbies could easily provide you with enough happiness, then they would, but they obviously aren't. So either you find new hobbies or just chin up and keep moving.

Eventually you'll learn the process of getting FWB's. Once you get 1-4ish(however many fit your lifestyle) life gets easier. Personally, I try for 1 main FWB and keep a few that I know want me. So when/if the FWB doesn't work out then I have options immediately afterwards and it's continuous. It saves me time so I can do all the things I want in life, but also have intimacy.
