This depends on the situation and the pace of it, but I find nonverbal and subtle communication to be easier in large groups. Other people usually don't see it happening, and the game that develops is probably safe and exciting to her - there's a natural tension in it (and you aren't embarrassed around your friends or polite company). This is probably the best and most natural part of my game so I don't know how to describe it well, but the basics apply: have some style, be in decent shape, be relaxed, have attractive body language (personally, I lean in my chair a lot or sit knee over knee in a "classically" masculine way; I stand straight and often with my feet shoulder width etc.). The particulars are harder for me to describe - knowing how to look at her like you're listening to what she's saying but with enough intensity that she can tell he wants to f-ck me, all while being able to maintain enough level of doubt in her mind; paying attention to her body language; being cute, funny, charming, interesting; demonstrating your personality by talking to other people around her (I think this is the best trick I've learned to look hot, interesting, funny, like you aren't thirsty and like you might not even be particularly interested in her, and it's a good way to show yourself off without putting pressure on her or on what might be uncomfortable/unsexy conversation with someone you're trying to seduce - you don't have to have sexy conversation with other people to look sexy af to her). Other good tricks include lingering on her an extra beat after she's done talking and someone else picks it up, sometimes letting her see you look at what she's doing or at her body without then making eye contact with her and looking thirsty or putting her on the spot - if she's interested, she will start giving you the "you can tell she wants to fuck you" sort of looks I mentioned earlier.

Maybe its because I know that its more likely that whoever sees me approach a girl will have forgotten me and me them by the time we see each other again.

Why they should forget you? You have a right to approach any girl you like. You are the one who sets the rules in our society. When you approaching a girl you give them a chance to learn something from you.

I ended up working in sales and that gave me the ability to not give an F about rejection. This applied to me talking to women and now I'm able to approach women much more easily
