From what I know simping only happens when you basically disregard your own selfrespect as a person/man to try to get a woman. But if you seduce her with your charm/personality etc. youre not simping. Being desperate and losing your dignity would be bad. And btw the whole "simp" subject is stupid in itself and shouldnt be taken seriously

When you're overly obsessing over the outcome with one particular dating candidate. Especially if that obsession goes on for weeks and months and that person hasn't given you any indication they're interested or have already rejected you. That's when you're simping.

If you're not obsessing over one person you're not already dating you're not simping in my book.

The way I see it simping is the same as the old term "oneitis". Just a newer term for the same thing.

Honestly you don't need to think about that when you're approaching from the perspective that you're figuring out whether a girl is worth liking and investing time, attention, and money.

I think initially it becomes a difficult venture of bottling up and controlling your anxieties and fears that you'll say something that is gonna either upset her or make her take you for granted.

But I think you don't necessarily need to think about that if you're interacting with a girl with a healthy amount of polite skepticism and giving positive feedback where you genuinely feel is deserving. Because that's something that you should be doing to ensure you're picking someone who is compatible with you.

Why this is so difficult is that women must naturally do this, they must curate and be picky because men are much more likely to actively show interest and be proactive about pursuing them. Like it or not, women generally will never be this way in society unless there's an end of the world type extreme disparity of women to men ratio. Generally speaking, a lot of women seem to fear rejection sooo much more than even the most friendzone-able simp-y shy guy.

Because women seem to be hyper sensitive to social perceptions of them, they generally aren't as willing to be as daring in dating. In this sense, the next thing would be, being seen as someone who is dependable, trustworthy, and able to keep a secret. There's a lot of guys who are tactless and have zero filter over their gross obnoxious mouth, this is a low value guy who will get desperate, opportunistic, low value girls.

It's important to NOT be overly accommodating and nerf every word you say. But also at the same time, you'll be surprised how nice and considerate you can be to a girl without being emotionally taken advantage of or be seen as weak.

For sure there are some girls that like guys who seems kinda cruel and abusive, and they don't seem to see it clearly, for some reason. But there are plenty of women that want a guy to just act with a demeanor of being courageously considerate and confidently nice. This is an indicator of abundance. Being nice for the sake of being nice, and not expecting anything in return, and not as a desperate appeal: "D-Do you l-like me?? Does a-acting like t-this muh-muh-make me more likable queen??"

And if you make a mistake or say something offensive or say something simpy, don't make a big deal out of it. Just be like "Oh my bad." And move on. A lot of women are anxious as is, don't add to the pool of social anxiety in an interaction. And if they add pressure to you and try to get you to apologize or get an emotional reaction out of you, be nonchalant about it and passive aggressively pressure them back for being kinda ridiculous. They just want to see how much of an act you're putting on, and how desperate are you to gain their approval.
