They just lack socialisation with girls in their late teens/early adulthood. Their hobbies also tend to be male dominated.

You're good at interacting with computers, not people. You spend your work day with people that are good at interacting with computers, not people. And, most likely, most of your friends are good at working with computers, not people. So computer-friendly but people-unfriendly behavior gets reinforced.

Girls have no problem with IT jobs, per se -- actually, having a decent salary is a huge advantage. It's just that IT guys typically have terrible people skills. Speaking as an IT guy in a previous life, the tales of woe I could tell..

Biggest issues I've had are approach anxiety and feeling like I'm not as good as others. The second issue is easy to tackle, find out why you feel that way and do something about it (I didn't feel like I looked good so I started working out). As far as approaching and being generally sociable this is harder. Depending on the guy it can be crippling, even if it's not a woman they're trying to talk to. I found myself being too analytical about every interaction. As long as you don't act super creepy most people will likely understand that your just kinda awkward until they get to know you.

Tldr: fix your glaring insecurities and just don't analyze every little thing. Don't dwell on bad interactions either.

Girls are the exact opposite of what we are use to do , for instance the harder you try with a girl the more she will run for the hills 😂

Working in IT is not mutual inclusive with struggling with girls. There's correlation there and possibly some causation but working in IT shouldn't affect your ability to develop social skills in any grand scheme of things. Maybe get a weekend job waiting tables in a restaurant, which is a good cause you'll have a lot of female co workers. Just an idea, but basically being an IT guy shouldn't be a reason for why you cant learn socialization.
