I don't understand why TRP considers "alpha" and "provider" as opposites.

A man can either be "alpha" (arousing) or "beta" (not-arousing). He can be a "provider" or a "not-provider".

Meanwhile, a woman can be "hot" (arousing) or "ugly" (not-arousing). She can be a "housewife" or a "not-housewife".

Nobody would say that a really hot women can't be a good housewife.

I've been with many women that were both smoking-hot and good housewifes. I consider it the default and would accept no less.

Why then does TRP consider the "provider" as an opposite to the arousing "alpha"?

As long as a women is genuinely attracted to a man he can bring the bacon to the table:

"I buy the food that you cook"
