Do women like to hear the sound of their own name?

I have a hypothesis that it really turns people on when they are referred to by name. Or at least, I know that it turns me on when a girl refers to me by name. Makes me want to fuck them right there lol. Does this hold true for everybody? I don't have much experience approaching strangers. I did it a little bit in high school and when I first got to college, had some success, but then covid happened, and I've been out of the game since then. I'm planning to do a lot of approaching at my college this fall. I was thinking I will just walk around until I see a pretty girl near me, say "hey!" loud enough to get their attention, ask their name, then say something like "you're very pretty (insert name)", and give them eye contact and a smile, see how they react and take the conversation from there. I feel like this would work really well if I look good. Am I tripping or is this good?
