That doesn’t make sense. How were you trying to manipulate/control/etc. autistic people? You were just asking for advice and a different perspective.

This is one of the many reasons I avoid spaces for women with autism. They also have a bad habit of pushing ableist stereotypes and rhetoric under the guise of feminism, like the myth that a large number of autistic men use their disability as an excuse for bad behavior.

Honestly, as soon as I hear someone say "cis-male" I just tune out because I've had a step-parent so I've had my fill of pointless lectures from people who don't give two shits about me.

This wasn’t misandrist. That subreddit clearly wasn’t the place for you to post. It’s obviously a place specifically for autistic women to post and ask questions. It wouldn’t be ok for women to post here about the struggles they have personally. It wouldn’t be ok, for example, for women to post here about generalizations they have about men and how some of those generalizations also apply to them. That’s not what this subreddit is about. The autism in women subreddit isn’t for men to post about their dates with autistic women or get advice about dating autistic women (per the rule cited)
