I had a similar situation. I cleared it up from day 1 that I never was in love and never will love you but apparently she fell for me even more. After a year, she completely cut contact since she came to know that I went on a date. So the moral of the story is that you can introduce some new girl into her mind and that I think will work absolutely fine
