The following is from my Christian perspective, but I do believe there are nuggets here that can apply to anyone going through this.

Here’s the thing.

Since she left and filed for divorce, I have learned so much about myself, the actual nature of the relationship we had and a whole ton of stuff in general.

She has learned absolutely nothing.

As a matter of fact, I would say she’s doubled down on everything she did wrong.

I just wanna take a moment to talk to the guys out there that would give anything at this moment to be back with her.

If she hasn’t changed a bit, which is very likely, then why on earth would you do that to yourself?

You may be different, like I am now.

Thanks to God for showing me reality and still shaping me into the person he wants me to become.

I encourage you to look at the totality of the relationship you were in and then determine whether or not it’s in your best interest to pine away for someone that doesn’t even love you anymore, if they ever did to begin with.

You have value. Even if you don’t feel like you do.

Even if she doesn’t treat you like you do.

I’m sure, like me, you did wrong things in your marriage.

But the destruction of the marriage was not solely your fault.

Stop dwelling on the things you did wrong in the past and instead put your hand to the plow and press forward.

As bad as you may feel now (I still have bad days quite often) things are going to get better.

Believe that.

Take care of yourself and if you have kids focus on giving them a good example in life. They need that now more than ever.

God Bless, brothers.
