Sorry if this is a rant, but I just need to ask how the rest of the community deals with mental health.

I'm currently working in the finance industry and had a string of bad luck, partly because of the crappy economy, but also mainly because of myself when I didn't study hard enough in my subjects (currently making up to it through further studies). My current role is leading nowhere and I do want to get into the investment research field. However I'm encountering a lot of rejection to get out to a similar role or to the role that I want to because I don't have the necessary background, even though recruiters have been telling me that they see a lot of potential. Frankly all the rejection is starting to take a toll on me and I'm becoming a little emotionally unstable and get angry at the littlest things. This is in combination of my parents constantly pointing about my past mistakes, and telling me to pursue a career that I frankly have no interest in. I haven't exploded yet, but I don't know when I can stop bottling it up. I have been reading TRP and following your advice I haven't opened up to my girlfriend about this issue yet. I have also been hitting the gym a lot of release the pent-up stress, however I don't think its enough any more.

Does redpill have any advice about mental health and maintaining a stable mindset?

Thanks for in advance.
