Exactly. Similar to how when older middle-aged women complain about men her age preferring younger women, people attack men as being "creeps." When fat women complain about being invisible to men, people attack men for having "unrealistic standards" for women's bodies.

Conversely when any kind of man complains about not getting attention from women for any reason, then he's just a pathetic incel loser. People sympathize with female loneliness in a way they don't with male loneliness.

Recently there was a very popular post on Reddit from a woman trying to say women have it just as bad in the loneliness epidemic while ranting about how all of her friends can only find hot guys to hook up with, none of the hot guys want to settle down with her and her friends. The layers of tone deaf absurdity in her post were myriad.

When women experience loneliness its a national crisis.

The gender hatred in our academic and policy institutions is out of control and unchecked. The moral compass is broken, and they don't care.

Even when I was a kid, a strong woman who didn't need no man was what many women aspired to be. Women have used insulting and devaluing men as a method of gaining social status among their peers for as long as history has existed. The White Feather Movement during WWI and WWII is a fantastic example of this: women would go around handing white feathers to men who were not in military uniform. The white feather stood for cowardice, and these women did so to essentially tell the men to enlist and go die in a trench.

The problem got so bad that they had to give men medallions indicating that they were (a) injured, (b) on leave, or (c) working for the war effort in other ways.

Social media has accelerated this sort of movement. Every moron has a loudspeaker now. Women are sending a clear and unambiguous message: that they hate men. That they don't want men anywhere near them. Other women are showering them with Likes and positive reinforcement. And men are listening.

This is a classic case of The Monkey's Paw. "I wish men would leave me alone!" has lead to an unfortunate series of events leading to "I'm 49, lonely, my eggs have been frozen for the last 12 years, I have no prospects for a relationship or children, and suddenly I realize that the social media I consume for the majority of my waking hours has made me unhappy."

Nobody cared about men’s loneliness as they were labelled as “incels” and told no one owes them anything. But as soon as there’s inflation, rising costs of living and recession, there is a concern for lonely single men.

This can stem from women's insane standards for a mate. Women date laterally or up meaning they won't date a man who makes less, is less attractive than her, or is shorter than her. Most women want a make that makes $100k+ a year, that's 16% of the US population. If you narrow it down further attractive tall men making over $100k+ is ~1% or less. Now throw that in while there's massive inflation and a country of men that are afraid of being called a creep or accused of assaulting someone and you get "lonely" women. I equate it to when a toddler has a plate of food in front of them but refuse to eat because its not chicken nuggets and candy.

It's true, but stop feeling bad about it. In reality you don't need women. You want women for sex and company but nothing else. Accept the fact that women are scared of strong men and they will never show sympathy towards a man unless he's their father, husband, son, brother.

Take control of your life. Learn a relevant skill. Get a good job, work out and then marry a hot young chick that will give you beautiful babies and take care of you.

I don’t think so. It seems like loneliness is now hitting men and that’s why it’s being talked about more. I feel like women have always had better ways of fixing our loneliness and now men have to learn
