Congratulations..I got my son at age 12 (he's 16 now) after years of courts siding with his alcoholic mom and drug addict abusive stepdad. There's lots of trauma we're working through but I couldn't be more proud of him. Enjoy your time together!

Congrats bro. Glad it works out he is near his school as well. I reconnected with my dad in 2014 after my mom moved us 1500 miles away from him after their divorce in 1999. Is always good to reconnect with your family.
