Demonising and vilainising men... As one comment said pathologising men's behaviour... If government will treat men as villains and punish men for being men, then against the enemy you must fight. What an awful way to destabilise society on awful and delusional way of thinking.

Hopefully it's not going to last long, because the more there will be destabilisation efforts based on feminist ideology, the less stable societies are going to be. No good outcome is going to be achieved from that.

I looked up the stats.

From 1989 to 2023, about 1/4 (523/2190) of intimate partner homicides in Australia were male victims.

It doesn’t give perpetrator sex details so there could be an unidentified number of same sex relationships.

Also, the rate of domestic homicide has been reducing since 1989.

This is political gaming, plain and simple.

Edit: Other interesting stats from the Australian Institute of Criminology infographic on the same page is that female victims per 100,000 had dropped in 2009 and then 2015 onwards to the same number as male victims ftom 1994 and continuing downward to end in 2021 on a lower rate than most year’s male victims before 2006.
