Dating Essentials for Men by Robert Glover is by far the most useful and practical book on dating and sex that I've read. I'd even go so far as to say that you don't need any other book.

Dating Essentials for Men by Robert Glover - Simple, practical advice for getting out, meeting people and approaching women in a laid back but masculine way. He advocates "testing for interest", it's a great approach that minimises anxiety and awkwardness. You starts with an innocuous question and then get more direct and bold with the girls who show interest. No need to memorise techniques or lines.

Models by Mark Manson - Best I've read for mindset. Encourages you to "polarise" women i.e. make a strong impression on them by being authentic and not worrying about how people perceive you. Also reframes rejection as filtering out women who aren't right for you. If you want more practical guidance based on this mindset, his "Fearless Dating" video course is great. It sets challenges for different types of approach (direct/indirect, bars/bookstores/street), starting with basic exercises designed to gradually reduce anxiety.
