What the fuck?

Firstly, accusing a rape victim of making it up…. not cool- it’s victim blaming.

Secondly, telling them it’s a sick fantasy… I don’t think most people fantasise about being raped… although there are subs about those fantasies… which I just find really weird and disturbing- fantasies like that are sick… but I don’t think this guy was telling his rape story as a fantasy.

Thirdly, “women don’t rape men, men rape women”= “you can’t possibly be a victim of this crime- your genitals are different to mine”

Fourthly, “you are not a victim”… if you’ve been raped (forced into sex without your consent), you are a victim of rape.

Then the most disturbing part is “if I was a man I would rape you to death”… why would you say that to anyone? She’ll come out and condemn male rapists in the same breath, whilst saying that she’d be one if she was a man? “You would deserve it for lying about it”- nobody ever “deserves” to be raped… under any circumstances. Rape can’t be used as a form of self defence… rape is rape… and it’s terrible.

Then there’s the “I know you live here- you’re easy to find”… makes me wonder if the woman who messaged is the rapist in the first place trying to minimise what she did?

And “maybe I’ll do it anyway and be the first woman to rape a man, you wish”… women can, and have raped men, sadly. In many countries, they can’t do so in the eyes of the law, which means male victims can’t get the support they need and aren’t taken seriously at all. She wouldn’t be the first woman to rape a man… if many countries changed their laws, she (if she did this horrific rape thing she’s talking about) would however be the first woman prosecuted of a raping a man in many of them, which is just a sad state of affairs.

Also, I wonder how she feels about lesbian rape? Does she think that’s a myth too?
