If she's okay with it and you're okay with it, its cool. Men and women value different things and women often value low body count less. Often, they will even value a higher body count more, whereas men generally want lower BC.

Anyone can have any standards they want. It is no different from short fat women wanting tall athletic men. Hypocritical yes, but not wrong.

Hypocrisy shouldn't really be a concern when it comes to dating preferences. You don't owe anyone sex or dates, you can refuse those for any reason whatsoever and there's nothing hypocritical about that. The alternative is forcing yourself into a relationship you don't want, which is not very good for anyone involved, and it would be fun if more people were willing to understand that.

Wrong is a strong word.

Wanting something isn't a problem in of itself, unless the thing you want is hateful or harmful.

Wanting a partner with a low body count isn't hateful or harmful in of itself.

Hypocritical though? Absolutely 100%. Holding others to standards you've failed to uphold yourself is the purest form of hypocrisy.

If you're okay with being a hypocrite and you don't act hatefully or harmfully to those who don't meet your criteria then frankly it's fair game.

As with all things dating you're entitled to hold whatever standards you want. You aren't entitled to any partner regardless of standards or any other factor.

Heres the issue, men have to earn and retain their value, its only fair that a man can have some sort of standards. Women on the other hand just to have to retain their value since by default theyre the childbearing sex

I wouldn't consider it right or wrong - just a matter of individual preference. People can certainly get mad that you express a preference, but that's their problem and not yours.

I wanted to write a longer comment trying to approach this problem from many angles but fuck it - no, it's not. It's your choice who you have sex or enter relationships with. Men and women are equal under law but are not equal under biology. There is no benefit from a man's perspective to a woman having high BC.

You can reject a woman based on any criteria you want so if high BC is a no go for you then so be it. Just remember that the existence of high BC men suggests the existence of high BC women and your criteria will significantly shrink your dating pool.

The thing is, we know that women are mostly more attracted by men who are womanizers anyway ... so sure, there's a bit of hypocrisy when asking for a woman with low BC when you have a high one, but I find it more hypocritical to call out the standards of someone you put your eyes on when you most likely don't even consider those with lower « experience »

At the end of the day, it's your standard. Women on socials have been talking about their deluded standards for a while now and they're validated, why not men ? (it's not even deluded at all, they're just mad that we care about the past)

If you struggle in finding someone (if you have a high bc as a man, I doubt that), I would say that's one of the criteria, maybe the first, you should reconsider, but it's your path anyway. They just hate that women are seen as less « valuable » when they get a lot of d, but don't bat an eye when men are seen as less valuable when they give theirs less (just a way of talk, ik it's not just about sex)

You're playing by the rules, and you didn't make them, we want things to change but they don't, so whatever. When you think about it : it's the game that is hypocritical. It's not equal, and I haven't seen many women asking for things to change (or only in their favour). Too bad 🤷‍♂️

It's not hypocritical to have different expectations for the opposite sex, especially since we all know they all hold extremely high standards towards men.

No, it's perfectly reasonable, and the reason it's simple, and it's rooted in biology.

Looking from the men lens, if the women is virgin you know that the child it's yours, it was the only method to ensure that till like 5 minutes ago, when we invented paternity test, but the biology inside us doesn't know that yet. That's why virgin/low bc women are valuable to men, because the likelihood that the child is actually yours is higher with them, that's where this preference stems from.

But what about the women? What advantage can you get from a virgin man as a women? Nothing, hell if anything you may think that there is something wrong with him, and if we consider the biological part of it, women know with 100% certainly that the child belong to them, so they don't care as much.

It is still important to note that having too high BC as men at some point isn't good either, because now the fear of being cheated on /left for another women is higher, but it's not the same as the fear of not knowing if you are raising someone else child, so they still care if it's too high, but still less then men do.

It's definitely a double standard if his inspiration is the fact that he wants a woman with no frame of reference to hold him up to. Some guys want a girl that will think he is the epitome of masculinity simply because she has no one to compare him to. And that will always backfire against him because at some point she's going to wonder what else is out there that she's missing out on due to the fact that if he's that self-absorbed he's probably a very selfish lover as well

My body count is low, say 8 in 37 years, now 43 as GF was my last, whose BC was 0 before me. Now have 1 child, and I'm semi-retired with a legacy to leave to our children.

So, to answer your question, why is it deemed wrong and hypocritical?

Because 99% of girls don't qualify most men's standards to be in a relationship so they shame the men to accept them and need that validation with accusations of being a groomer or creepy and pedo for wanting to be the only man desired by a woman. BECAUSE usually the first guy a girl is with is always part of her and on her mind whenever something reminds her of her EX. First Love is a powerful tattoo on her soul that only fades slightly over time.

Plus all the percentage of women with higher BC that initiated divorce doubles every sexual partner.

So what to do? Damed if you do and damed if you don't. Or do what I did and left society behind, to have a family without the corruption.

There are any nunmber of psychological studies showing that a female with a high BC is a bad long term relationship risk.
