So this might get a little rambly, as I’m a little bit under the influence right now, but I’ll try to keep it short - sorry if this breaks any rules

I legitimately think finding this sub may have saved my life.

I (20m) have always felt so alone when it came to my feelings about men’s issues. I felt like I was literally the only one in the world who could see that the dynamics of gender weren’t fair for men either, and it drove me deeper and deeper into my depression.

It seemed like everyone either didn’t care about men, hated them, or cared so much that they legitimately did hate women. I started to wonder if there was any middle ground, any hope for real justice between the sexes.

I started to get it in my head that I was a misogynist for having these feelings, that I could never be a good man because according to everyone I knew, they didn’t really exist and it very nearly drove me to suicide.

It sounds ridiculous, but this sub gives me so much hope. You guys are my proof that good men exist, that good people exist, who actually THINK and self reflect, and who can hold two opposing viewpoints in their heads at the same time with real nuance

Anyway, I’m doing better now,

Thank you for being the good men this world needs.
