I remember several women making very nasty comments to me about my shaved head after I finished chemo. I still keep it shaved, and I still occasionally hear a nasty comment. It is this weird dynamic where they think they are entitled to say these things.

I eventually resorted to singling out a part of their body for ridicule (which is much easier than you think since most women are insecure) and the reactions were just as outraged as you would imagine.

There’s no question that short men are discriminated against more than any other group. I think it must be one of those in built prejudices from thousands of years ago when short probably meant poor nutrition as a child, which resulted in poor health, lower strength and intelligence. Other prejudices are more learned from your social group rather than instinctual.
