Trying to build up my confidence after a 10 year relationship and want to start attempting cold approaches, in the last few days walking to work I've identified so many opportunities and then missed them. Today I talked myself into it and decided I wouldn't miss the next opportunity, I came up with a little opening line in my head and eventually walked past a solid 9/10, knowing I would get rejected by her weirdly made me more confident (physically I'm definitely not a 9) and since I knew what the outcome would he I just did it for myself.

I asked her name, shook her hand and said "I have a problem you might be able to help me with" she looked at me with confusion and worry in her face and said "depends what it is". I said "I don't have plans on Sunday, could you possibly help me with that.

Her face lit up, she laughed and said that's so cute I love that. She politely told me that she's meeting her boyfriend on Sunday but encouraged me to use the line again because it was really cute.

I'm absolutely buzzing boys.
