Much less than 1%. You can work out the minuscule percentage between men and women as a whole when it comes to rapes and partner murder.

For the latter the difference between women and men is absolutely non existent and explainable with the difference of testosterone, let alone that over 95% of relationships being straight means that 95% of anything sentimentally related happens between persons of opposite sexes.

Take the number of yearly cases for your country, even the biggest recount that's defined with the blandest femicide definition (even if it includes females killed by their mothers). My country's about 100 cases

Look for the number of married people and divide it by 2 to get the number of marriages. My country's about 15 million

Work out the number of people aged 15 to 80, subtract widowers from it, and divide it by 2 to obtain how many situations could end up with a femicide... Since it apparently can happen to everyone even if not in a relationship. My country's about 25 million

The number in between us 20 million possible femicides every year.

Now do 100/20'000'000 and you'll get the rough chance for a femicide to happen every year. The calculator might not display it in decimals as there would be too many zeros after the dot

That small number should in theory mean how much women are better than men in regards to partner murder, and I've knowingly left out male victims that follow the broad criteria for femicide.

Got this as a suggestion after a lengthy debate with, what I believe, is a feminist holding similar beliefs to what you are battling in your post.

My take would be that there is indoctrination present. Some women were persuaded to believe that their right to FEEL safe trumps men's right to be free. They were allowed to publically call for distrust in all men under the banner of free speech.

I don't understand why generalization of men are expected, but generalization of women is not.

It's quite simple. Men will allow it and generally remain silent. I'm not saying one is right or wrong, it's just what it seems to be. When it comes to standing their ground with women, men seem to be quite lethargic and permissive on a general level.

I'd also like to add, for the sake of accuracy, that you generalized here as well. Not all women think like that. It's a loud minority that is pushing the narrative. It is then backed by a group of opportunists and then a bunch of followers who don't even understand what they are fighting for, but they do so to feel accepted and important in their social circles. Depending on where you live, the number of women pushing that narrative will vary.

Onto a more distant issue, it seems to me that there is an active movement of creating separation on all levels of society. They are pushing for a society without any traditional values and institutions such as marriage and family consisting of mother, father, and children. It's quite possible that there is going to be a future where gender, family, and similar concepts will be abolished completely. I know that some of you may find this to be too far-fetched or unbelievable, but a war of traditional genders would seal the deal for such a future. I believe I won't live long enough to see this within my lifespan, but logically it's a possibility. There is circumstantial evidence to support this theory.

Regardless of that, I believe that there is a middle ground and most women I've met in my life have been amicable once we had a chance to talk. There are obviously occasions when that is not possible, but whenever it is it's important to attempt meaningful discussion. We are all flesh and blood. We have similar needs, aspires, and worries. Once you show your human side, most of the guards are dropped. It also helps to look good, but that's another story.

Seeing all these things happening to women in the US (maybe Western countries as well?), as an Asian man i'm afraid the bigotry will soon instill in our dear females especially in big cities as they are being the ones receiving better care and education and learning the most from "educated" countries. We do acknowledge how vulnerable they are in Oriental traditions and fight for them. But it'll break our hearts to see what it will become looking at avant-garde societies.

the negativity towards #notallmen comes from the perspective that the hashtag seems to be in rebuttal to the fear women feel in society, rather than in support for men who are accused. while it’s possible the hashtag can be used to support those men and have no malicious intentions, many people use it to discredit the experience of women. women also feel a negative perspective towards #notallmen because of the constant fear instilled in women. while not all men are rapists and it’s rare for someone to assume EVERY man is a rapist- the idea is that women don’t have the privilege to take that chance. while i agree false accusations are a huge problem, the expression of them has only seemed to emerge with the trend of women speaking out against rape and SA. i may be wrong, though.

You see the thing is most women go through some kind of sexual assault in their life at least once in their life and there have been cases where even their most trusted people would sexually harras them or rape them.

So they have to be wary of every guy not because they hate men or all men are rapists just because they don't wanna get assaulted.

I am not saying i agree with saying all men in fact I hate it when people use all men are trash. But when we say not all men they think we are somehow defending the rapists or something.

They should understand too that you can't blame an entire gender for a person's fault.

Like there are female rapists too in the world.
