For starters I don’t do this anymore. I found a screenshot of my convo with a girl about 4 years ago (which I can’t attach here unfortunately).

We were flirting heaps but then i got ignored in the following order.

“Can the 23rd be the day we’re just friends”

“Hey what are you doing”

“Can I ask you a private question”

I don’t do this now and I cringed looking at it. At the time I was just experimenting with things to see what would happen.

After that barrage of getting ghosted I sent a photo of my gym pump (also something I don’t do now. It shows low smv) and she called me 3 minutes after saying she wants to come to my house. We banged that night.

You could argue that just being ripped won the battle here but it got me thinking, is repeated unresponded messages really that bad? Maybe a girl is with a guy at the time and she just wants to do right by him. Maybe she’s not in the headspace for companionship at that point in time. Maybe she’s going through a phase thinking about girls. Who tf knows?

I think a ping after an interval of 6 months or so is fine. It doesn’t necessarily show you’ve been thinking about her every hour of everyday like a message everyday does. What does everyone else think?
