Yes. It’s not his fault and there’s a good chance he’d be a stable father figure because he has the experience of not having one and understands the importance.

My son ended up without a stable father figure and told me from early teens that when he was in a relationship he was going to do things differently than his father had. And so far he has.

Probably not. In my experience, daddy issues are a rough ride no matter the gender. I’d feel sorry for him, but we wouldn’t date.

Sure. As long as as he was striving to be a better father in the future. I feel it’s almost unrealistic to try to find a guy with a good father figure when you live in Russia. My generation wasn’t exactly lucky with good father figures tbh.

Absolutely! It all depends on how the person himself has turned out. When I date people I’m not looking for anyone who has a stable father figure, that’s simply not a priority. People are their own person, sure they can be affected by their parents, but at the end of the day their parents are not their personality. They don’t define everything about an individual. If the person I’m dating appears to be a stable individual themselves and happens to not have a stable father, that’s fine by me. If the person is not stable and also doesn’t have a stable father, I’m out.

Yes. Your parents are not your fault and while you may have a bit more issues if you come from an unstable family, what's important to me is how you choose to deal with those issues.
