I've read countless amount of times its better to not meet on a first date at either persons house but first meet somewher else.

I wonder from your experience though in what instance is this true for hookups?

For example im now trying to see this chick i already now through mutual friends. We are no strangers and Ive flirtend and talked with her in the past.(I'm not interested in romantics just sex)

We got in contact again on IG and have been bantering a bit. She recently broke up with a toxic ex and I told her I'm in a similar situation. We then joked about which one was worse and I told her wanna bet on a bottle of wine?

It's now in the stage where I should ask her out but I'm not sure what to send. Ideally I'd just go to her place immediately and chill there talk and drink wine. Don't have the option to invite over since I'm with my parents at the moment.

Should i plan to meet her somewhere first or can I just bring up " Let's split a bottle at your place, when are you free?" Or something along those lines
