On the men’s side you have men who are happy single amongst men who struggle with dating. It’s much easier for average and above women when it comes to dating. Naturally, it makes sense that women adjust better to single life since most of those women are choosing to do so.

Also, single women are praised whereas single men are seen as losers and more recently, incels.

What’s confusing is that feminists keep saying there’s a ‘lonely women epidemic too’ but this suggests that single women are happy.

Given the demographic that makes up most Feminists, of course they will say anything to convince girls to separate from boys, and women to separate from men. It means more women for them. In the end, that's what it's all about for them, and we all know it.

in my experience single boys school are basically the same as regular school , except that homosexuallity was more an open secret and nobody cared , ironically it was a catholic school

In Australia, the data show that girl do slightly better in single sex environments. It's difficult to find reliable data for boys.

In addition, while the number of single sex schools for boys is decreasing, and enrolement also decreasing (supply driven, fewer schools), there are more single sex schools for girls, and enrolments (demand driven) are increasing.

There is substantial pressure on boys single sex schools to conform with feminist driven agendas and demonstrate curriculums that confirm comtemporaneous agendas generally infused with negative perceptions of masculinkity. Many schools are over-reacting to these pressues or are closing as a result.

For girls single sex schools, there is no pressure to conform, curriculums are infused with positive female stereotypes and scholastic achievement is allowed to drive the curriculum.

Internationally, I don't know. There is too much data for any pattern to emerge, other than the within group bias of female teachers.

Not only do feminists "claim" it - teachers have hard proove for that.

My sister went to a girls only school - 70% of the graduates wanted to study in STEM.

I was the second mixed year - when I graduated only 30% of the girls planned anything with STEM. and that was 30 years ago.

The question is what you want to meassure - if it is STEM performance it is seperation - if you have other metrics like social encounters, mixed might be the winner.

Being surrounded by just one gender doesn’t seem good in my opinion. It may give girls the wrong ideas about boys, and boys the wrong ideas about girls.

Girls are doing extremely well regardless and are now 60% of college graduates in the US. I'm fact collages are discriminating in favor of men. Otherwise the enrollment numbers would be even worse
