Nothing. There isn’t a single avenue in life I wouldn’t have had a better time at if I was a woman.

Attention/effort from parents and school system.

Special treatment by peers, employers, schools, etc.

Access to abortion as birth control.

More scholarship money/job openings available for women.

Not signing up for the draft.

Being able to talk about things that made you feel weak without being shamed and berated, or anything for that matter tbh.

Then to top it all off, the pandering you have to do to the women around you to keep your job and social standing. Having to pretend like they’re special victims and bs woke stuff. The privileged white female class not only has the actual power, they get tears and sympathy like they’re actually oppressed too.

I don’t like to divide things on race, but white women in the United States have literally the best and easiest existence out of any group that’s ever walked the planet through any point in time, and they have the effing NERVE to act like they’re anything but the top 0.001% of living conditions.

When stated like that, unless they’ve had this realization, they’re literally just a useless, consuming eater, (to use WEF language) that if they do decide to have a child, they will give the child the worst possible circumstances despite they themselves having the best possible circumstances when they grew up.

You shouldn’t look at American women specifically as anything other than spoiled, entitled ungrateful brats. Unironically, your life improves drastically when you stop worrying about treating them with respect.

They never have showed any to us, only spite. Why waste your effort? Don’t do that. I promise if you put all that mental energy towards yourself it won’t be wasted.

Give each other some slack. We were put in a competition that most of us weren't meant to win. We're suffering from success. The issue is that everyone worked so hard that the average work is insane amount of work. This is also where most movements are bleeding by. They cannot reward accordingly, because they promised insane amount of work from men in society for the price that makes 'minimum wage' look like a dream income.

You're given the blame for taking this job, despite that all jobs pay the same. That's why people were told to opt out of society. It's their fault for not paying us properly.

I like being big and strong. Women love it too. They love to feel small next to me. I like being able to open the jar or carry the heavy thing with ease. I like being very logical and not being ruled by my emotions. I can help people think through their problems by hierarchically organizing by importance without getting lost in all the feelings.

Society freely gives me the presumption of competence and confidence albeit at the cost of help if I need it.

It's good to be a man! and it's good to be a woman. We need to focus on the good and what we can do with what we have.

I'm glad being a guy means I am probably much less entangled in superficial relationships, social settings and the latest craze around beauty/food/health/people and that's accepted.Women of all ages are an immensely targeted group for advertising, product development and social agenda setting.

I am starting to ponder the idea that men have as much or as little agency as we desire, and we can enforce our boundaries as much as we want. But we are getting this crap fed to us from parents and relationship partners on how we should act and the indignities we should suffer to get a mate or keep a mate or not ruffle someone's feathers.

I remind myself too that one of the core attributes of tyranny is obedience in advance.

What I've been starting to do is ask why is this an expectation of me, does it serve a good purpose, and does this violate a boundary? If it does, I can put my foot down and feel good about it. I'm teaching my boys to do the same and to also consider the source of advice. E.g. if your mother teaches you to put woman on a pedestal, maybe ask what kind of status quo is she trying to maintain. A lot of advice for boys these days doesn't always seem like it's necessarily in their best interest.

The current state of things does not have to remain that way. Woman have been changing the rules for a while now. We have woman that are making millions selling their body online. Why are men going along with this shit? Let's start saying no, I am not ok with this. Because you're not, right? Why keep pretending?

The freedom to not care. The likelihood of people showing me what they really think right from the start. The ability to see people for who they are and accept them as is. The amount of self control I’ve had to practice over the years. The fact that no one cares if I don’t say shit for long periods of time. The ability to see things as they are and take them in stride. Male interaction/humor. Seriously have you ever observed and all female friends group? The amount of cart backstabbing shit that goes on is anathema to me. I’d rather someone have the balls to tell me they don’t like me so I can fuck off.

The fucking struggle. My therapist asked me two questions when I was a teenager after I tried to kill myself. He didn’t try blaming, or shaming me, and understood what I was going through. Which is why I listened and took him seriously. Any parents in this group can tell you how freaking rare that is.

Question 1: Has your life ever been easy?

Question 2: Would you be able to appreciate it if it was?

Does being a man suck? Aye.

If I had the option to be a woman would I? Fuck no.

Women may have it easier and people automatically care about them. But I’ve lived long enough to know that having to struggle to build yourself up so you can stand against what life see throws at you has its own rewards. Yes we are disposable socially, and suffer far more harm collectively than women. But there’s some good things in being the protector, the keeper of laws, the soldier, fireman, farmer, fisherman, lumberjack: and all the thousand other demanding jobs.

Civilization exists in part due to both men and women. Women by creating close group where tasks and child rearing are shared. Men for creating safety for the next generation, all those millions of inventions that have made life safe and comfortable for billions.

That kind of reminder may not hell with your day to day personal challenges, but for me, almost 60 years of life it gives comfort. I have value that is measurable even if many who receive what I’ve done have no idea and wouldn’t appreciate it anyways. It’s my choice to keep doing it because it builds rather than destroys. That’s enough. Future generations don’t need to make statues to us, heck even wives, girlfriends, neighbors and family often miss the sacrifices we make.

The fact that I can go out whenever I want to without really worrying too much about getting sexually assaulted.

Compare that to the intricate planning I have seen my lady friends do, how they dress, how they talk to people, how they respond to catcalling, how they need to signals others if they are in trouble etc

Also, no periods and no chance of getting pregnant
