Everything is backwards in our society, the people we pretend need protection are the most systematically advantaged while the ones we call privileged are systematically disadvantaged in every way. It’s across all categories and classes of people. It’s like living in a backwards world but everyone is going along with it as if it’s normal. I think this is done purposely, it’s part of weakening a society, creating cognitive dissonance so the debt slaves are confused and unable to get a firm grasp on objective truth. This base level of objective realty is actually extremely important and when you are one of the few who see past the brainwashing and propaganda you are forced to live a frustrating life, society will do everything it can to reprimand you until you fall into line with the sheep, it’s mass conditioning and i believe part of the reason is to see how far from reality they can get people to see things. It’s all these little nudges away from the truth but after a while the truth becomes very far from reality, they just keep nudging tho. I would go into examples but on Reddit I would get destroyed by the brainwashed people who are completely unaware of objective unbiased truth and will get very upset if you try to point it out. They see this as an attack upon their belief system that is a risk to their entire mental model of the world, good and bad, right and wrong. They ignore their eyes , they do not question their own thoughts and they don’t actually argue with facts or good faith and yet they still feel they are right. They pick apart little things while ignoring the main undeniable points that should cause them to reconsider. At that point it becomes about winning the debate and no longer about searching for objective truth

Men are continuously falling between the cracks it’s almost Like they want men to kill themselves. Poor or no friendships unemployment no partner no assets no proper mental health support no proper support for addictions. But I’m not falling through the cracks I just think I’ve died inside because I already have.

There are many reputable sources available online that say men and women experience and report around the same levels of loneliness. Women are more likely to reach out to support when they feel this way however.

That's not to say it's mens' fault for not reaching out for support (as we know, men are sadly often discouraged from doing this due to toxic masculinity which encourages men to "man up" and ignore or hide their feelings).

But they do experience the same levels of loneliness. There is a loneliness epidemic that is affecting all genders equally

The problem is with females. They have set the bar way too high. Now a days decent guy is hesitant to ask avg women out on date. Finding women in a different countries can be way easier than getting a chick from America. "A king will marry a peasant, but a queen will never look at a peasant."

Brake out of your tendencies. Yes most men are lonely but you can fix small problems that make it that way. Talk to people just for your enjoyment and if you never see them again that’s okay. If you see them again then it could be a future friend.

without evidence? the supposed “male loneliness epidemic” isn’t enough evidence that men aren’t having healthy meaningful relationships with other men? and isolation is a big contributing factor to why people commit suicide? Yeah sure i am blaming men, but why won’t men do anything to fix it, women can’t force you to make friends, we can’t force you to message your friends, we can’t force you to open up and talk about your issues with your friends, these are MENS issues that it is not possible for women to fix because that action that needs to be taken is a MENS action, can you not see how not acknowledging the fact that men don’t support each other enough and make meaningful connections with there friends and other men is harmful to yourselves? and to your last point, yeah cos a lot of yall on here are woman haters xx

edit: to add about the intimate partners, of course that’s important, partners are meant to support each other, but I am talking about male friendships here and that it is an issue that men refuse to work on, relating it back to intimate partners is (in hetro) relationships is putting the responsibility onto the women to fix this issue, when both parties should communicate about their needs not expect one partner to solve all

I think a lot of the male loneliness problem has to do with video game addiction. Most modern males spend the vast majority of their free time grinding away at some video game and think that's normal. Men are also more insecure than ever and therefore more narcissistic, so when they can pull themselves away from their games, they're insufferable to be around. I say this as a male who has been trying to meet new people and make new friends for the past couple years.

There is a patriarchy, it has existed for so long and in so many places you do not know the difference between that and a egalitarian society. Matriarchy’s too have been dotted in history but have always been destroyed by a patriarchy (neither is wished for, but a matriarchy has had less time to show its full effect). To see it you must only look around and at history.

Male loneliness is a very tough subject and falls mainly to how men are treated by other men in society ie be strong, don’t talk about feelings, work hard don’t take breaks, be violent not peacemaker etc.

Other men like this group need to band together to help men because women cannot solve a male problem they can do all the research and exams and initiative’s but in the end the majority of men (especially those who are experiencing male loneliness) will listen to a man’s opinion more.

Women can aid the effort of course. But men are at the forefront of this advance.

According to mayo clinic ‘woman are nearly twice as likely as men to be diagnosed with depression’ woman also experience PMDD, PSS, post natal depression and psychosis. Higher self harms rates.

I may also add, that many studies have been done of Male and Female loneliness and they are about the same. Differing only slightly each way and leaning alternatively between studies.

Of course my wish is that no one is lonely but this issues is wider then just men and wider still then that.

To me it is deeply ingrown in the flawed nature of a sex controlling the main company’s of a society for so long and the consequences of chance, freedom and new conversations. But that is solely my opinion

I honestly don't understand why male loneliness exists in the first place. Just find other lonely men and socialize with them and 2 problems solved. I have hundreds of friends and I'm not even a very social person. Just focus on the human interaction with your fellow man and don't be too picky. Every man has a story you can learn from and improve your understanding of life as a man.

What is something that should be done for men who are facing loneliness?
What methods of prevention should we apply to reduce male suicide?
How do we combat homelessness, paticularly for men?

You’re many times alone even if u end up in a relationship. Only kids make your loneliness disappear. Men don’t focus on learning social skills. It’s high time that men learn how to be social without a partner. So many great books on social skills nowadays
