I read through it, and there's nothing much to comment on here. Though the media seems to have finally realized that not having any men to write about men is not working out well for them. This writer says she doesn't know anything about the subject of men – this never stopped them before, but whatever – so she consults a guy who...wait for it...tells her everything she wants to hear about how bad men are. And when he doesn't confirm her misandry, you can see her cherry pick the quotes to make what he tells her seem unflattering in one way or another. That's just a small part of the low-effort clickbait slop though. The rest is forgettable.

That song was originally intended to mock the type of woman who has high standards for men but has no standards for herself. And then later it was used to glorify hypergamy. There is no way that a man who ticks all of those boxes (which is already extremely rare) was thinking “2024 is my year” or something of that sort. The song lyrics rooted out 99%+ of men by design, and also treated them like a sexual (ie. the extreme height/eyes preference) and financial commodity.

So no, that song was only a partial victory for the financebros because it mayyybe got women to re-evaluate (as in, the average financebro chances went from say, 20% to 20.1%) their dating choices. But it was a defeat for the rest of the “bros” because there was no positive change at all. The trend just exposed how high the standards are for men, but it was discussed in jest rather than in a critical manner. And tiktok went back to hating men through “man vs. bear” and all of the other misandrist trends.

There is a concerted effort to disenfranchise men from family, culture and leadership roles and to term all positive masculine traits as toxic. If she's a lesbian I'd like to know about her relationship with male figures in her life. I ask this in no condescending manner, but was there any trauma with men? This is often the case I've found.
