I’m going through this too. We are cohabiting and I want to die. She’s so happy and she laughs so deeply. She never been happier and smiled so much. I feel like I’m burning to death. I wish she would have fucking talked to me, instead of just being pissed at me for years. She’s been over it for years while I pursued her nonstop. I feel broken and without purpose. I love our young kids but I only wanted kids with her. I feel so lost. There is no point to living.

it’s a coping strategy for her. She is feeling bad, or will at some point, unless she’s a total sociopath (which, admittedly, some people are). But putting on that they are having their best lives ever after splitting is a common kabuki show - mine did it with great flourish.

Dead bedroom means she has been checked out of the romantic relationship for many years. She is glad she no longer has to put on the act you two are a couple. That is why she is so happy. She is free.

Cohabitating is a terrible idea. Get your own place ASAP, even if that means sleeping in your car and showering at your gym.

She probably mourned the end of the relationship years before she told you she wanted a divorce. And now she’s excited for the next stage in her life. Same thing happened to me - I was devastated but she was giddy.
