In all seriousness, being a man means you are the brunt of the physical labor workforce with a higher chance to die, and you are expected to make all the first moves and pay during dating. We are expendable when it comes to war and we are the gender that suffers more from homicides and suicides.

Fun fact: Wikipedia straight up says "misandry is a minor issue" on the misogyny article. There is a power force of immature biased editors trying to keep that on there.

You’re right, the system is broken. Men are constantly pressured: be strong, provide, pay, court, but expect nothing in return. Enough of this.

Why should a man spend his money, time, and effort only to get a hollow ‘thank you’ in return? If a woman believes she ‘deserves to be courted,’ then a man equally deserves something in return for his resources. If society preaches equality, then let it apply everywhere, not just where it’s convenient.

It’s time to stop playing by these rules. No more investments that bring nothing back. Want to spend money? Only spend it when you know you’ll get something in return. Respect yourself and your resources. Stop letting the system use you one-sidedly.

Then don't engage with it. If you really feel that romance, as it exists today, isn't worth the trouble, then don't bother. You won't be forced. It's entirely possible to live a simpler, quieter life, not based around impressing people and wasting away in the eternal search for sex, status, and simoleons.

It does make you even more aware of how foolish and easily mislead the vast majority of humanity is- but after 2020 and the accompanying mass hysteria, I can't really call that a BAD thing. It makes for a very lonely life, though.

This is why I'm so big on highlighting all the ways misandry presents itself, even when it's not obvious. Because sometimes we can feel like we're worlds apart from other people who have never taken the time or day to consider issues men face, or from those who do but consider it "less serious".

I might pop off sometimes and sound unhinged, but there truly is a deeper purpose behind it. It IS depressing to watch it happen, and to watch everyone around us be blind and/or resistant to it.

Misandry is so common place and accepted that even people we love don't notice how casual they are about it. My sister will regularly say things like "men aren't shit" without batting an eye and I'm the only person who ever speaks up and defends men. Its disheartening and draining sometimes, but I'll fight for men until my last breath.

Once a young man realizes that men are treated at workhorses, he must then decide to stop working. You don't need a huge house. Just get a little one. Live minimally and frugally. Then you won't have to work so hard and you'll pay less in taxes. You shouldn't marry, nor cohabitate with women.

Although I don’t want to discount that your sources of information hold a real possibility of being biased in the other direction, I have seen plenty of examples of some women’s lack of empathy for the very real challenges that men face. I hope that you will use what you’re seeing as an opportunity to be more empathic to everyone, not less, and you yourself deserve that empathy, too.
