The brilliance about this strawman argument and the feminists that use it is that it's very easy to expose their moralising. You simply dig a bit deeper by asking them, what are the problems men face?

A terrible strawman I see often made whenever someone tries to downplay any struggles men face or trying to advocate for them or even just criticizing feminism is comparing it to misogyny or wanting Talibanesque treatement for women.

It's their typical appeal to the emotion they use rather than relie on rationality and logic.

What's funny is that this is obviously not the case at all, though true gender equalists are so rare that I can't blame her stupid brain for thinking that. I've been called leftist by rightists and rightist by leftists just for saying I want gender equality.

Believe it or not, my hatred for misogyny is about as vigorous as my hatred for misandry. These damn Christian fundie tradcon types and their "women shouldn't have careers" and "women should be ruled by their husbands" make me cringe and I call them out on their BS every time I see something especially cringe by them.
