How far have you come?

I'm starting to forget things because it's been a while now, but here's timeline to best of my recollection.

From the starting point:

* Went out 2-3 times per week, at first did 5 approaches per night, then ramped up to 10.

* ~3 months before i got my first flakey number

* ~6 months before I got my first number that turned into a date

* 1-1.5 years to have sex for the first time

* 2 years before I pulled same-night from a club

* 3 years until I was somewhat consistent and was able to date multiple women at the same time. Started working as a Jr coach around this time.

* 5 years until I got into my first LTR

* 6 years until I really felt confident in almost any environment.

* 12-13 years until I met my soul mate

I’ve come a long way, but I still have a ways to go. I can talk to women and get phone numbers, but it all feels pointless when I’m consistently not getting what I want (getting laid). I’ve thought about paying for it and just bypassing this infernal process, but my pride will not allow it because it reeks of defeatism. I’m tall, muscular, have good verbal game, but never get anything because I simply do not know how to text. She could pose a simple question on the surface, and I could unravel its deceptively simple layers with a lengthy philosophical treatise. TL;DR: I made myself physically attractive, gained confidence, but because I cannot text, I end up with nothing.

Yeah man it took Tyler and I both about the same amount of time before we had sex for the first time. This is why focusing on the process is so important. Because if we focused on the outcome we would have gotten discouraged and quit a long time ago
