What’s up. Tdlr at bottom.

This isn’t a brag post & not a cry for help either. Simply a check-in from a guy who went from being deep in blue pill conditioning to now living the exact freedom I used to daydream about — and trying to keep my head straight while doing it.

Here’s the quick backstory: I was locked in an LTR from 18 to 26. Eight years. Got with her right after high school, no real game, no frame, no awareness of my value. Just a kid who thought “being a good guy” meant bending over backward for love. No strong male role model growing up, so I walked into that relationship blind — and paid for it over time.

About halfway through, I stumbled across Red Pill content. Hit me like a truck. Started putting in work on myself. Read the material, started lifting, set boundaries, leveled up across the board. Slowly, I started seeing the dysfunction for what it was. Took me a while, but eventually I got out.

Been single for about 6-7 months now. And let me just say: abundance is real.

I’m spinning plates. My dating apps are flooded. I walk into a bar or a gym and get eye contact, smiles, conversations. Women are feeling me. Not because I’m chasing — I don’t chase — but because I’ve built myself into a man worth noticing.

I’m talking real feminine energy. I’ve got women cooking for me, massaging me to sleep, going down on me like they’re possessed. And when I put it down in return? They stick. They chase. They linger for days.

So here’s where I’m conflicted. Some of these women are high-quality. Like, the kind of women I wished I’d met years ago. Soft. Peaceful. Into me for me, not trying to compete or dominate. They’re trying to lock me down. And I get it — I’d be the prize in their eyes too. But I’m not ready to hand over my freedom just because a few good girls showed up.

I just got out of an eight-year mental and emotional prison. I want to roam. I want to explore. I want to soak up everything I missed.

But (& here’s the part some of you might flame me for), I feel a little bad sometimes. Not because I lied. I’ve been more silent concerning exclusivity than open. But I can see these women catching feelings. I know they’re emotionally invested, and sometimes I feel like I’m taking more than I’m willing to give.

So to the experienced men here:

How did you handle this phase?

How do you manage plate spinning when you’re dealing with genuinely good women who treat you well — maybe better than anyone ever has — but you know deep down you’re not ready to lock anything in?

How do you enjoy the abundance without turning cold or manipulative?

I know the obvious answer is “don’t get soft.” But I’m trying to ride this wave with awareness. I’ve worked hard to get here. I don’t want to fall back into scarcity thinking, but I also don’t want to fumble real potential just because I’ve got the juice now.

Appreciate any insight from men who’ve lived this part of the journey. I know I’m not the first to hit this fork in the road.

fresh out of an 8-year relationship, leveled up, and now thriving with women but feeling conflicted about enjoying freedom while good women catch feelings. Asking how to handle this phase without being cold or losing self-awareness.
