My campus is a commuter school with low energy and my judgment feels clouded by too much advice. What can help?

In this kinda invironment you don't want to go direct, because you don't want to be know as a approach guy especially when you're starting your journey. Befriend girls around you. Practice direct and more agressive game somewhere else. Don't chase and don't pedestilize is all around a good advice.

Don't overcomplicate it starting out. It's too much to remember. Your main goal just starting shouldn't be anything more than having the guts to approach. If you apporach as a newbie - thats a win

I always went direct and had success.

Opening direct can be good for beginners, who often have trouble displaying intent in the approach. Complimenting style/outfit/energy/tattoos is much better than complimenting looks. Complimenting too much skews the interaction, you want a push pull of giving her light shit playfully. If she's with a guy you can open more indirectly and then transition into "How do you guys know each other?"

Do you not have bars/clubs/grocery stores, public venues to go to. I'm assuming you're somewhat of a beginner which means you'll probably crash and burn a bunch, but you still need to approach. You don't really want to approach at school if you're not sure you'll most likely do well.

The secret is to play this game: Find excuses to talk to strangers. Ask a question about the environment or setting. Make a comment about the setting or environment. Give a compliment. Be chatty & social. (This is what I currently do, day game and night game)

Now another approach is to just straight up approach a woman you're interested in. I'm 38 now, so this was a long time ago, but I remember this beautiful blonde babe in one of my college classes that always used to dress really cool. I used to skydive in college, we had a club, so I just asked her if she wanted to go skydiving with us and she said yes.

You don't have to have something grandiose planned, but you can approach a woman from class if you dig her and just ask her out. I only remember doing this once in college, but it worked. I believe I did this toward the end of the semester, maybe right after we took our final when it was my last chance.

Last thing I'll say is going to a commuter school maybe does hurt your chances to some degree, but its still probably better than being out of college in the work force.

Yeah I’m in the same boat. It’s hard to work up the courage to go up to a girl even if you’re been playing eye tag lol. All the common areas are so full of people.

Also I always see cute girls like walking around but don’t want to stop them just to talk to them.

But maybe that’s the method idk I am kind of a noob at cold approaching.
