I've taken a break from dating but a few women I know always assume I'm seeing multiple women even though I just work and stay home all day.

It might be a projection. They like you, and so they think that other girls like you as well. Take it as a compliment.

Or a test. They want to check if you’re a player, the reason might vary, maybe they actually want a player for FWB, or they won’t, so they’ll avoid you.

Don’t focus on that, it’s not important.

If you're doing pickup right, you'll naturally get the player label. No worry, it doesn't mean much. More so a lack of comfort complaint, usually when I hear this I balance out the attraction with comfort. Easy peasy

It also turns the tables and says well if I’m a player than the means other women MUST want me and I must be doing something right so YOU tell ME what that is.

And then you end it with admitting that yes you’ve done it, this gives you social proof, status, and authenticity since you are confirming her suspicion which takes her off guard since she’s expecting denial answer.

How I handle this is by telling them I’m over that part of my life. I just say I had the phase but it was empty and pointless so I’m looking for something that’s going to build my future.

Assuming you’re not actually a fuckboy thats just telling her what she wants to hear, this means that she assumes that you don’t mess around and have abundance. It’s likely coming from your energy that you’re giving her more than anything else - detached, unfazed, in your element. Whatever it might be

For your case bc it’s not true, you really can’t logically defuse this, so just set the record straight and move on.

If you are seeing other people but in an ethical way, the best response is to be like “tbh i disagree. A player or fuckboy will tell you what you want to hear to fuck you, ive been nothing but honest w you. Im pretty straight up from the beginning”. This usually will increase attraction bc you are being super honest + communicating that you’ve been called this before and actually disagree w it.
