I was banned from match group a few years ago for no apparent reason. I had used tinder and hinge on and off for years with zero issues until I was revenge reported and subsequently banned. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, no, I was not “creepy” and no, I never harmed anybody. I also got into a long-term relationship from someone I met from Hinge. I have tried everything from emailing their support to even submitting a BBB report to no avail. Their appeal center doesn’t work for me because my ban originated from before the appeal center was created so they automatically deny me from being reinstated. I’m super bummed because 90% of my dates were from these apps and I was fairly “successful” on them. Since the ban the number of dates I’ve had has greatly plummeted and tbh I feel kind of hopeless without it. I get that cold approach and stuff like having “hobbies” is another way of going about it, but let’s just be honest dating apps are super helpful when they’re available to you. Has anyone else been in this similar situation? What did you do to manage to get match group to unban you?

Also, on a sidenote, I love how their stock price plummeted probably because of this same reason of banning paying users lol.
