Wear airpods or other headphones of your choice with a mic in them. Then use the voice memo app if you have an iPhone (I’m sure androids have something similar) and hit record. It will pick up the audio clearly through your headphones. If you number or ig close by handing her the phone, you can just stop the recording before giving your phone to the girl.

You dont. For most people outside this tiny community, it's considered very creepy and an invasion of privacy.

This is one of those things that seem cool now. And then in a few years time you'll get married to this lovely wife and her family suddenly finds your old "pick up recordings" floating around on the internet or in your basement somewhere. Then you won't think it's cool anymore.

Most guys have a life after PUA. Just be aware of that. Protect your reputation. Don't do stuff you're not cool with being plastered on the front pages of newspapers. You might get famous in the future - who knows. Best to not do stuff like this.

Coming in as a creator. Have a wingman to record or you an recorded your audio with a lapel mic. There are descreste cameras. Basically any form to record the content to start then you evolve. Sorry if I missed the mark, I usually just read the header.

To do this most easily, use a spy camera. For audio-only recordings, keep your phone in your pocket, at chest level - it is the easiest method I also used a few years ago before using spycam.

If you want to improve, you need to record what you're saying. This is the only way to notice any unconscious voice inflections you make, or filler words and interjections you use, like "oh," "ummm," or "aha." If these are used too many times, it can sound weird, and without a recording, it's impossible to become aware of them.

In the beginning, when I started recording my interactions, I couldn't believe my ears. My voice level was so low that it seemed like I was almost afraid to talk but I also spoke too fast, I hadn't realized why the other person kept asking me to repeat certain questions.

So... use it, even if someone on this sub tells you otherwise. You know it will help you, and it will.

People used to always record their infields. I don't see the big deal, personally. Can't really give advice about the 'how', though. I guess you'd need some sort of 'spy camera' but i'm not sure if that alone gives you both audio and visual? And for how long? I'd kind of like to do it in a bar

edit: Actually, I think I just decided i'm gonna buy one! I'm thinking a watch! audio is more important to me, but visual wouldn't be bad.

No matter how you twist it it’s a lil creepy to record someone without them knowing. Classic move was cable headphones (you can take out and keep the mic hanging out of your shirt). The problem is if take out your phone to get the number it shows the recording app on your phone. She will not like that, cause it’s a lil creepy… So ideally don’t, or get a second phone and say it’s for communication.

I'd imagine a lapel mic would be best, as others have stated you mostly want to record your words. But as for the recording app, that's a good question.
