You can totally get better at text game (been there done that).

Just treat the matches like your training ground and don't get attached. Try different methods, try what works and what doesn't. What you need to understand is you need to stand out, preferably be funny as well.

What I like to do is just be straightforward. I tell her she's hot. If she replies with "you too" or anything along those lines, that's when you can get creative. "Woah, you aren't planning a wedding just yet are you"/"Well can you cook though?"/"Hold up, I don't actually even know you, you won't bite me will you? I've gotten bitten way too many times, chicks can be crazy".

These are just examples from top of my head that I like to use. All that matters is it has to be sorta funny, edgy and come off like you're not really that bothered about what you write (- her reply isn't really that important to you).

Once she starts to sell herself to you - "yeah I can cook, I make great lasagna"/"I only bite in the right moments", stuff like this, you get her out. Worst thing you can do is to keep chatting with her longer than needed to set a date. Girls these days are absolutely dopamine fried, you need to get her out asap. If she tells you she's available next week (or you say that), it's basically game over, because by the next week she's gotten 500 new messages from other dudes and probably forgot you existed. If it goes good, show her you live in a moment, you're energetic - "if you go change into a nice dress, I can pick you up in an hour". There's nothing to wait for. Plus, most dudes don't live like this yet it is extremely attractive from the womans standpoint. Most dudes have to mentally prepare themselves, go to a barber, shave, trim the nails... shit like this is what wastes time and extremely decreases chances of a date. So you need to take care of yourself daily and be ready anytime. And once you do all this right and see her, it's all you. Be funny, be crazy and fucking live life. Women love that shit.

Rating systems are subjective as fuck. When you say you are a 6 or 7 out of 10, that's not how women see you, that's how you see yourself, which is subjective and each woman can have a different opinion. Some woman can think you are higher than that, other women can think you are actually lower than that, and some can think that yeah, that's an accurate number. Because every woman has different preferences or things they value more than others when it comes to physical apperances.

Then again this is all useless, a subjective rating doesn't dictate the outcome. Because there are way more variables, like yoru attitude, her attitude, her subjective standards, whether there is chemistry, whether she is in the right mood or not, etc... So "arbtirary ratings" is not really something you should focus on. If you focus on it, then you are self-sabotaging.

Not sure why you wanna tell woman that you don't now what to write. That's a you problem, so why are you trying to make it hers? It's not their job to rescue you from your lack of social skills, or to show pity, like she is your mummy.

Yeahhhhh that's not text game at all.

There are so many parts to text game though. I'd say start with having a structure, so you can lead the conversation from match to number, and then finally to date. That will help you know what to say when you are unsure, as well as with the flow.

If she’s a 10 and you’re a 7 then what do you have to keep her interested when 20 other dudes are in her DM? If you can’t answer that then start there.

This isn’t meant to be mean but you need to decide what makes you interesting and sexy and sell it. The confidence of knowing that you have something that those other 20 dudes don’t have is what gives you the confidence to put in the work and keeps her from getting bored.

As an ugly dude. I don’t even GET matches. When I would, I’d find myself talking to bots and getting actual responses and it just instantly set off alarm bells in my head like, wait, this girl matched with me and she’s actually talking to me?

But nah, you definitely need to work on your text game. You’re already doing the hardest part which is getting matches. Social skills are INSANELY easy to develop and are usually a minor part of dating and attraction, but if you’re completely lacking, it can limit opportunities from developing.

99% of the battle is the way you look, so if you are getting matches but fumbling them after, very good chance it’s social skills.

For someone like me, I have great social skills, but I never get matches because I’m genuinely disfigured and incredibly ugly.
