Women put enormous pressure on men to be bold and assertive. Yes, sometimes this results in uncomfortable situations. But we can't keep punishing men for not perfectly navigating the gender roles that women unilaterally impose on men. For every unwanted kiss there are 10 men getting rejected because he wasn't bold enough to kiss her so she rejected him for not being manly enough. If the unwanted kisses are actually a serious problem then the obvious solution is for women to stop rejecting men who aren't assertive or don't take initiative.

Initially seemed excessive. After reading the story he put his arm around her and tried to force her to kiss him. I'd rather the fine than jail time for SA. Still seems like a misunderstanding that most people would probably brush off, but he did something illegal and being drunk isn't a defense.

What has honestly happened multiple times in the club. Should also go out of my way to get money.

But probably only works one way right.

Thats the problem. If both is not punished both ways. It just pulls away any drive to even deal with the other side. Cause I can easily think of a bunch of times of random touching or kissing or holding by women. Both in events. Public transportation. And in work spaces.

So I take it as seriously as they take it when it happens to men.

And I don't think thats a wrong way of thinking and looking about it. Why should men always ask for consent. If women don't have to do the same. And thats just ok and accepted and the be a men shit is done when it happens.

And thats goes true my mind in many cases. If respect does not go both ways. Rewards and punishment does not go both ways. How can you really care at all when it happens.

And thats not me being anti women. I'm in a relationship going on 10 years but why should ones feelings matter more then some one else's

I mean I'd have to see the video to really make any kind of determination on this. If he put his arm around her and kissed her in the cheek then this would be wildly out of proportion.

If he grabbed hold of her and fully made out with her while she struggled to get free for like, 30 seconds or so then it seems reasonable enough.
